Classes now given online live via Zoom or enjoy a class outdoors in your backyard or local park!

Breastfeeding is more than optimal nutrition for your baby.


Get your breastfeeding experience off to a good start with this fun and interactive class. Learn the essential skills and knowledge you need, so you can breastfeed your baby comfortably and confidently from the start. 

Breastfeeding is natural and a learned art.

  • What will I learn? A few topics we will cover:

    • Preparing for breastfeeding

    • Feeding within the first hour of birth

    • Baby-led latching

    • Mother-led latching

    • How to get a good latch every time

    • Positioning

    • Cue-based feeding

    • How to know your baby is getting enough

    • How to establish a good milk supply

    • Safe sleep

    • Partner support

    • Community resources

    • And more! 

  • How long is the class?

    • 2 hours​

    • August dates:​

      • Sunday, August 23rd, 2pm-4pm​ (In-person class in Jarry Park)

      • Wednesday, September 2nd, 5pm-7pm (In-person class in Westmount Park)

*Private classes are also available to schedule at your convenience. 

  • Who teaches the class?

    • Gabriela Mizrahi is a certified breastfeeding specialist, ​registered nurse clinician, and DONA certified birth doula. She has several years of experience supporting breastfeeding families and helping them get off to the best start breastfeeding with confidence. 

  • Group class: $45/breastfeeding family​

  • Private class: $85/breastfeeding family
